The Mannes Beethoven Institute

The tenth annual Beethoven Institute will explore Beethoven's sonatas, trios, and string quartets in a week of intensive study. A distinguished faculty will offer a mixture of private lessons, master classes, lectures, and public concerts; participants will work closely with this faculty toward public performances at the end of the Institute.

Applications are welcome in the following categories: solo piano; pre-formed violin/piano duo; pre-formed cello/piano duo; pre-formed piano trio; pre-formed string trio; and pre-formed string quartet. Enrollment will be limited to ensure close participant-to-faculty contact.

The Beethoven Institute will be held at Mannes College of Music on Manhattan's Upper West Side; the Institute is open to serious students and young professionals.
